Dumbledore's Mini Dachshunds is located along the Blue Ridge Mountains.

An old provincial name, "dumbledor", also denoted a buzzing insect such as a bumblebee.

 "dumble" probably imitating the sound of these insects.

I chose the name DUMBLEDORE for my kennel because of my love for Bees 🐝 & Harry Potter⚡

Dachshunds or Doxies were bred 300 hundred years ago in Germany to hunt badgers which is what gave them their name. 

  The word Dachshund is originally a combination of two German words: Dach which means badger and hund which means dog.
